Dungeon Crawler Carl is coming to physical pinball on Multimorphic’s P3 platform. For book fans and existing P3 owners, the most important buying distinction is simple: a game kit is not a complete pinball machine. Here is how to choose the right purchase and what to check before ordering.
A dungeon crawl built around Carl and Donut
Multimorphic’s adaptation of Matt Dinniman’s books casts you as Carl alongside Princess Donut. Jeff Hays provides character voices, while the rules turn exploration, enemies, spells, and loot into pinball objectives. The standard starting point is book one’s first two dungeon levels, with another starting point available as an option.
Explore and progress
Work through quests and encounters, grow your viewer count, and use the safe room to recover and open loot boxes. The changing narrative gives each stage a different objective.
Physical and digital play
This is a three-flipper P3 game with dedicated physical mechanisms. The official gallery highlights Princess Donut’s magnet ball lock, Mongo, the disk loop, and HEAL targets.
Six details worth knowing
- Jeff Hays supplies the character performances.
- Luciano Fleitas and Brad Albright contribute cabinet and playfield artwork.
- Stumblor Pinball provides the sculpts.
- The kit combines an upper playfield module with a lower playfield extension.
- A right-side target flipper assembly is required.
- The game has mature language, with a setting to bleep most swearing.

Evolution Pinball purchase
Full payment for the game kit
This is the full game-kit price, not a deposit and not the price of a complete P3 machine. A compatible cabinet is required. Shipping and taxes are separate unless your order confirmation includes them.

Existing owners should confirm cabinet compatibility before ordering. Multimorphic says P3 machines built before 2022 did not include the required right-side target flipper assembly. Buyers without a P3 need a complete-machine quote rather than this kit alone. Optional cabinet artwork is sold separately, and the manufacturer describes a separate topper as still in development.
Production is not immediate availability. Multimorphic targets a late-2026 production start and warns that its queue may extend beyond 12 months. Ask Evolution Pinball for your expected fulfillment timing before ordering; no delivery date is guaranteed here.
Watch before you decide
A trailer introduces the theme; gameplay footage is the better next step for judging shot flow and the P3 format. For an existing owner, compatibility is the first check. For a first-time buyer, compare the complete-machine cost and space requirements before committing.
