Pokémon Collection and achievements: September rollout
Stern's September update puts the Insider Connected Pokémon Collection and in-game achievements on the calendar for this month, following its Pokémon XP appearance.
For players and owners
The important distinction is between catching Pokémon during a game and the connected collection outside that session. Check your Insider Connected account and Stern's official notices for availability before planning a visit around the new features.
A monthly news announcement is not a software release note. Our Pokémon software history remains the place for separately verified version updates.

Stern Pokemon
The First Official Pokemon Pinball Machine Is Here
Stern's official Pokemon pinball machine gives one of the world's biggest entertainment franchises a full-size collector machine with edition choices, family appeal, and a theme almost everyone recognizes instantly.
Official Pokemon pinball
A Major Crossover Moment For Pinball
Pokemon gives pinball a rare kind of crossover power: collectors know it, families know it, and guests understand the theme before anyone explains the rules.
That matters for home arcades. A machine like this can be a collector piece, a family game, and a pop-culture conversation starter at the same time.
Why Pokemon Has Big Buyer Appeal
The strongest part of this release is how naturally Pokemon's collecting, battling, progression, and character recognition map onto pinball.
Instant Recognition
Pokemon is one of the rare themes that reaches kids, parents, collectors, and casual guests.
Collector Energy
The franchise's collecting DNA fits naturally with pinball objectives and edition choices.
Family-Friendly Fit
The theme is colorful, welcoming, and easy for new players to approach.
Three-Edition Path
Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition options let buyers match budget and desired presentation.
Game-Room Visibility
A Pokemon machine is a first-look centerpiece in almost any entertainment space.
Stern Platform
Modern Stern hardware gives the theme a proven full-size foundation.
Pro, Premium, Or Limited Edition?
The right model depends on how much visual presence, mechanical depth, and collector value you want in the room.
Accessible Entry
The core full-size Pokemon experience for buyers focused on theme and value.
Home Arcade Sweet Spot
A stronger feature package for buyers who want a more complete showpiece.
Collector Choice
The top edition for collectors who want the most exclusive package.
Who Should Consider Pokemon?
- Pokemon fans who want the franchise represented in a real full-size pinball machine.
- Stern collectors tracking major modern licensed releases.
- Family game rooms that need an inviting, instantly understood theme.

What is the reported Costco Home Edition Plus?
Retail reporting documented a separate Pokémon Home Edition Plus configuration at select Costco warehouses, with an observed shelf price of $4,999.99. That report is useful for comparison shopping, but it does not turn the Costco configuration into a fourth Evolution Pinball purchase option.
Evolution's Pokémon product page continues to offer the standard Stern Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition choices. Warehouse stock can be local and temporary, and buyers should verify the cabinet, feature set, support and warranty channel before assuming the Home Edition Plus matches a full-size model.
See the current Pokémon pinball product page for the editions offered by Evolution Pinball. The reported warehouse sighting was covered by Kineticist; Stern's official Pokémon page remains the authority for its public standard lineup.
