Identity and history

Revenge From Mars is identified in a machine catalog as a Bally game manufactured in January 1999. The Planetary Pinball Williams/Bally manual archive lists a Revenge From Mars operations manual dated February 1999.

A contemporary rulesheet describes the machine as the Pinball 2000 sequel to Attack From Mars. Its defining feature is a video image projected onto the upper part of the playfield, allowing the display to show game modes, graphics and responses to playfield-target hits.

Gameplay

The objective is to light all nine Saucer lights, complete the Fuel, Saucer and Weapons Bonus Wave multiballs, and reach Mothership Multiball before starting Attack Mars.

The rulesheet documents multiple modes and multiballs, including Martian Attack, Regular Multiball, Bonus Wave Multiballs, Mothership Multiball and Hypno Multiball. The machine also includes action buttons used for mode selection and other game interactions.
