Transformers v0.95.0 — October 2, 2026
Stern’s Pro and Premium / LE notes describe a maintenance patch for all three editions.
- Fixes a rare issue where a tilt warning could disrupt the Optimus vs Megatron challenge mode.
- Updates to System 4.38 and nodeboard firmware / protocol v1.39.0, with behind-the-scenes correctness and performance improvements.

Transformers v0.94.0 — September 30, 2026
This earlier feature release added Optimus vs Megatron, a two-player split-flipper challenge mode accessed from the gameplay menu.
- Player 1 controls the left flipper as Optimus Prime; Player 2 controls the right flipper as Megatron. Red and purple shots damage the opposing character across a best-of-three-round match.
- Round two introduces Team-Attack, and each round adds another ball in play.
- Also adjusts Prime Training and fixes a rare mystery-award crash and other presentation issues. The notes identify System 4.37 and nodeboard firmware / protocol v1.38.0.

Transformers v0.92.0 — September 17, 2026
Available for Pro, Premium and Limited Edition. Prime Training adds dedicated practice for flipper techniques, shots, missions and multiballs.
- Training: five skill drills with timed stages and unlimited ball save. Insider Connected personal bests appear on the machine, not in the app.
- Mission practice: play each of the five missions separately at a selected difficulty, with personal-best tracking.
- Multiball practice: direct access to five multiball modes.
- Other changes: revised Ghost in the Machine ball-save behavior, longer Rescue Optimus timers, flipper-default changes for new builds, and music and lighting fixes.

Stern's new v0.89.0 code for Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition adds a new topper mode, Insider Connected achievements, gameplay tuning, and bug fixes.
New content
- Ghost in the Machine Topper Mode: a topper-only mode with ten green-shot goals, ball additions, action-button control recovery, and a Ghost challenge.
- New Insider Connected achievements: Ball Captured, 2 for 1, I Did That One Handed, Super Combiner Multiball, Cannon Award/Cannon Combo/Cannon Jackpot, Tech Spec Maniac, and Tech Spec Action.
Gameplay and system changes
- Combiner Multiball, Microbots, Tech Spec Mania, One Shall Fall, Dinobot Wizard, and device behavior were reworked and tuned.
- Improved scoring, shot awards, ballsave timing, displays, sound effects, and anti-cheese protections.
- Fixed skill-shot ballsave, Tech Spec button timing, Megatron cannon motion, Dino SOS lighting, Countdown to Extinction music, and the Pro right-ramp diverter.
