Smaug and the Arkenstone
An animated Smaug head guards major shots while treasure and Arkenstone objectives connect the dragon's lair to the larger progression.
Join Bilbo, Gandalf, and Thorin's company across a widebody adventure packed with story modes, rising beasts, cinematic presentation, and the animated Smaug mechanism. The Hobbit rewards exploration with one of Jersey Jack's deepest long-form rulesets.

Released March 21, 2016, The Hobbit was designed by Joe Balcer with software contributions from Joe Katz, Keith P. Johnson, and Ted Estes. Jersey Jack built the game around the complete film trilogy, a 27-inch LCD, custom speech, and a rules journey that can keep revealing new objectives for years.
The journey is built around completing scenes, collecting treasure, defeating enemies, and combining objectives. Physical toys and RGB feedback make progress legible while the rules reward both short strategic games and marathon attempts at the final battle.

Orcs, goblins, Wargs, and other enemies rise from the playfield as targets, locks, ramps, and magnets turn scenes into physical encounters.
Barrel Escape, Goblin-town, Elf skill shots, multiballs, and the Battle of Five Armies create a ruleset made for repeat discovery.

Jersey Jack confirms four production editions. The core rules and playfield are shared, while cabinet treatments, armor, presentation details, and collector rarity distinguish them.

Important: Black Arrow is part of the official edition history, but it is not currently configured as a purchasable Evolution Pinball variant. Because every edition is out of production, displayed prices reflect Evolution's configured collector inventory rather than a current manufacturer MSRP. Confirm exact condition and availability before ordering.
Watch Jersey Jack Pinball's official trailer for a closer look at the widebody layout, cinematic display, lighting, characters, and physical mechanisms.
The game itself is deep in every edition, so the best choice depends on cosmetic preference, rarity, condition, and price. For an out-of-production machine, cabinet condition, playfield wear, software readiness, and included collector parts matter as much as the edition badge.
Read the manufacturer's history or browse other Jersey Jack machines available through Evolution Pinball.
Physical playfield counts are based on the documented production game. Edition-specific cosmetic treatments do not change these core counts.
