Fallout: Machine History & Reveal Guide
Manufacturer-confirmed launch record for Fallout by Stern Pinball, with edition context, official photos and research links.

Announcement timeline
- September 2, 2026: Evolution recorded Stern's official title announcement and teaser. Machine details were not yet public in those materials.
- September 3, 2026: Stern published the full reveal, official Pro/Premium/LE photography, model prices and game/feature videos.
Developed in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Kilter Films, the game combines television characters and footage with elements of the video-game world. Stern credits the team behind Godzilla, JAWS, Jurassic Park and King Kong; this page does not infer individual design credits that were not identified in the sources reviewed.
A wasteland campaign built around three characters
Play as Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul or Maximus, with character-specific side modes and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. progression. Insider Connected lets players carry their character development between games. Stern says reaching level 10 in every S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat unlocks an exclusive mode for each character.
The presentation combines footage from seasons one and two of the television series with video-game content. Johnny Pemberton, who plays Thaddeus, supplies original custom callouts. Stern also identifies music and sound effects from Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas.
From Pip-Boy to the Vault
The interactive Pip-Boy LCD, developed with The Wand Company, brings a signature Fallout device directly onto the machine. A moving Nuka-Cola bottle-cap spinner and inverted upper flipper add physical targets to the wasteland theme.
Premium's highlighted mechanical package includes the multi-axis Fat Man launcher and V.A.T.S. shooting gallery, the Magna-Flip Vault lower playfield and a sculpted Deathclaw bash toy with kickback. The Limited Edition adds a Vault-Tec presentation and collector equipment; consult the model pages for the complete specification rather than assuming every mechanism is on Pro.
